I am a human that was born in the United States of America during Jimmy Carter’s presidency (unfortunately).
I began my spiritual journey at a very young age, or so I’m told. It began with asking my mom questions of G-d and spiritual matters as a very small child, and the quest has continued my whole life. I am currently an Orthodox Jew, but have had a background immersed with Christianity. I was an ordained Christian minister for several years, and it was during these years that my studies became more intense in particular the areas of Church History and its influence on Christian Theology, etc. This lead to an actual heavily research-based questioning of the assumption of the man called Jesus as the awaited Jewish Messiah (of which he is a far cry). From there becoming an Orthodox Jew was a logical (albeit abridged here) next step. Currently I live in Detroit and offer information and advice on Anti-Missionary (anti-Christian conversion) topics.
HaKadosh Baruch Hu (The Holy One, Blessed Be He) has been so kind to me and continually looks after me. I am so thankful for my family and friends… each a unique and bright light in the darkness of the world that I cherish like the stars of the night above an open field…
The rest you may or may not gleam from my blog. Only know that you are welcome to share in my journey…

The header for this site was found on the Temple Institute’s gallery page (found in blogroll). It is a rendition of Rambam zt”l praying at the Temple Mount.

I’m so glad I found your blog! I too was in ministry for years within Christianity & I was working toward my degree in theology. After 3 years of studying, my husband and I became bnei noach. Now, we are studying toward converting to Orthodox Judaism.
Thank you for sharing about your path into Judaism.

Shalom, Jen!
I’m so glad you found it too! It’s very encouraging to meet someone on a similar path! I’d love to hear more of your story sometime if you’re willing. I actually have a post entitled “Why Judaism?” that would be perfect. It is quite a blessing that you and husband both are all for it. Be well.
